Having a relationship with Jesus Christ is an adventure! Our desire is for each child at Mountain Springs Church to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and friend.
It is our desire to provide parents with the necessary tools to become the primary disciplers of their children. Some of the resources we provide are parenting classes, weekly handouts from Home Front, and a monthly magazine. We also strongly encourage parents to partner with us by volunteering in their children’s classrooms.
Learn More about our age appropriate programs below:
Nursery (birth-3 years old)
The goals of our nursery are two-fold. First, the nursery is a ministry of Christ-like love and nurturing to infants. Second, it is an introduction to age appropriate Bible stories. The children who attend nursery will be given the opportunity to hear God’s Word through picture stories of the Old and New Testaments, as well as have God’s Word reinforced through worship and interactive play.

Early Childhood (3 years- kindergarten)
The goal of our Early Childhood ministry is to give children a life-long impression of the heart of God and what He has designed for their future. We join together as a large group to engage in worship and give each child the opportunity to learn about the Bible through stories from the Old and New Testaments, brought to life by storytelling and skits. We then create community through small group activities and age appropriate crafts.

Elementary (1st – 3rd grade) and Propel (4th – 5th grade)
Our desire is to provide children with tools for building a solid foundation on which they can stand when they make moral and spiritual choices. We want to create a memorable experience in which kids enjoy God, have fun, develop Godly relationships, and experience high-energy worship. Each week we try to create an environment where kids are safe and learn how to hear God’s voice. We begin our time together in a large group setting with worship followed by teaching on the Big God Story. The kids are given space to respond to God’s Word through prayer and other response activities. We then create community and develop relationships through small group discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
