“Rick Clapp grew up as an ‘Army brat’ living all over the United States and Europe. While joining a church plant, right after high school, Rick met his best friend and future wife Laura. Rick and Laura became great friends and both were the first interns of their church pursuing their personal calls into full time ministry. In college, Rick received his Bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Laura received her Bachelors degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Rick and Laura were married and followed their calling into full time ministry together. A year later, they moved to Dallas, Texas and began their studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. They both graduated in April 2000, Rick with a Master of Theology Degree and Laura with Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.
Since July of 2000, Rick and Laura have lived in Colorado Springs. Rick has served as an Executive Pastor for over ten years and as a strategic coach with Church Community Builder (CCB).
