Bruce Svatos

Bruce grew up on a farm in Oregon where he enjoyed hiking, fishing and exploring the outdoors of the great Northwest. He met Katie in Kansas City while visiting family. After dating for three years, God led both of them to serve Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii at the same time. It was there they got married, barefoot in the sand, in 2005. Two years later, Bruce and Katie attended a Discipleship Training School with YWAM in Colorado Springs and went on outreach in China. They returned to Kansas City and started their family until 2013, when God called them back to Colorado to work with YWAM again.

Joining our team in 2018, Bruce loves getting to work behind-the-scenes and help care for our campus in new ways. He’s always down for a good story or to chat Seahawks football.
